Full Version: clean laptop screen
I have some smudge marks on my laptop screen. What is the best way to clean the entire screen?
A microfiber cloth works great.
Depending on how dirty your screen is, you may or may not need to use a cleaning solution as well. I have a can of 3m "Electronic Cleaner" that I use along with the microfiber cloth to clean my screens every now and then.

i would NOT recommend any type of glass cleaning chemical like windex. I generally just use water + paper towel.

The only thing I don't like about using a paper towel is the traces it leaves behind, especially if the towel gets too wet; hence the microfiber cloth.

paper towel or kleenex? generally, the paper towel i use don't leave any fibers behind.

I used a Scotch-Brite Easy Erasing Pad (under wetted it) yesterday on my LCD. worked perfectly.
