We bought this thing in May of last year... and last week I put it through the laundry... the thing is dead... can I send it back to Jabra for repair or should I just buy my DH a new one?

I would take it apart and let the inside dry fully first if they do come apart.. who knows that may fix it or it may dry out on its own and work. If not I would just buy a new one thru Amazon where the price is 56.99 or maybe even a different model that is better. Chances are a claim thru warranty may get denied.

Thank you, I wasn't planning on making a claim, just sending it in for service, but you're right, the price has dropped some, (we had paid about $75.00 last year) so I might as well just buy him a new one (I put it through the dryer too, it was in one of his pockets)

dryers do not necesarilly dry inside parts without it being apart but maybe more trouble trying to make it work than its worth

Next time try to dry it before attempting to turn it on. wink.gif

Why not buy a new one?

There's a $9.99 after rebate Jabra bluetooth headset @ CompUSA here. wink.gif

Thank you, he wants the BT500, he says that the 350 looks like a little penis hanging from people's ears!

Tell him not to complain about the 350, since some poor schmuck in Romania is toolless. hiding.gif
