Hey everyone- eyehide.gif

I know that during the peak holiday shopping period (between thanksgiving and christmas there is a huge surge of deals....)

That being said, I have noticed a huge slow down with new and active threads on b$ lately, over and above what was stated.... is this just a coincidence? are people posting less?

Is it that companies, websites, and retail stores offering "deals" and rebates are just waiting to figure out their quarterly accounting? Then they will re-start to liqudate inventory and offer rebates..? When will the deals come back?

I mean, I used to have to check b$ hourly or at least multiple times a day, and recently I have noticed that only a few deals are coming in per day...? I'm not trying to be negative here, I just want honest feedback about what I can expect...

Do I have to wait till march or the next presidents b-day sales weekends or what? noclue.gif Let me know...

It's that way everywhere, I think...I look @ several boards for deals (Can't speak about electronic/techie deals since I'm not much interested in those), freebies, & contests...haven't found much... sad.gif

I guess you'll have to start scouring the boards as well and post what you find... smile.gif

B$ does slowdown during the holiday weekends. The world seems to slow down during Christmas week. I know the 26th was a good day for me! I spent hundreds online with all the deals that were posted.

Things should pick up soon - January is fiscal year and/or quarter end for a number of companies, Dell and Staples included. Also January is good for tech inventory clearance as companies rotate out the previous year's inventory for new models. BB/CC/OD tend to do this around this time of year.

"hot deals" days are dead in my opinion. i used to buy things to sell every week. now i am lucky if i find one item to sell a month.

I'm not looking for things to sell...I want the free socks, undies, makeup, greeting cards, pens, t-shirts, and other necessities of life... tongue.gif
