A few months ago I bought two netgear routers with a limit two rebate.
Rebate form says "Send only one rebate form when submitting claims for multiple products on this promotion"
Normally, i'm not a fan of this as the multiple UPCs may not get scanned in.

Of course, only one rebate shows up in the mail.

I call up and go back and forth with the CSR. In my copies you can actually see the staples. So, it makes no sense to me how he can have a position of "we only have 1 UPC". At this point i'm fuming.

Finally, i pushed for a supervisor. The supervisor takes my information and is going to send it to a resolution team. We'll see if I get a check.

Anyways, this is just a post for others to be careful of these netgear rebate forms and keep an eye out for what they send you back.

This ended up being ridiculous.

1) I mailed them a resubmission
2) I faxed them a resubmission
3) They cancelled the original check and sent me a reissued check without telling me.
4) 5 or 6 phone calls at least
5) I emailed netgear to start filing a complaint. I'm not sure that complaint was processed yet.
6) Was within hours of filing complaints against Rebateshq and Netgear via the BBB. I probably should have just filed them earlier on.

I finally called again today and they located a new record that was issued under "Customer Care"

Basically a 7 or 8 week process to get this worked out bang.gif

Parago can be REALLY bad when you have multiple items on a single form. As best I can tell, if you pre-submit, they will NOT credit you for multiple items on a single form, even though it is supposed to be the same as the regular form. I am about to mail in a rebate for some software that had 5 different items on the same form, and you could buy each of them. What I have done is generated an online form for each rebate, and I will put both in the same envelope. Despite what they tell you, they WILL take multiples of the same rebate form in the same envelope (I generally write "Form 1 of 2"). I *think* that will ensure that it is processed properly.

Finally got this check for a purchase that was made in august of last year lol.gif bang.gif

I used ebytes suggestion to fill out the online submission for netgear rebates and just send them separately. Both of my recent submissions are processing correctly.

Sounds like the way to go. smile.gif

Just as a tip, any time a rebate form requires multiple UPCs, I make sure to staple them *next* to each other so that it is very clear when looking at a photocopy how many UPCs were attached. This is more helpful in the case of GC type rebates, when you are attaching 10 UPCs to the Pepsi rebate, for example.

too funny

i got so annoyed with RebatesHQ and emailed netgear directly in January. Netgear responded today after four months that i could send a copy to them to re-process the rebate.

(i got the check from the rebateshq resubmission in february)
