I know very little about networking...My router stopped working recently...I have wired DSL going to a DI-604. I have a Mac OS 10.28 connected to port 1 and a windows 2000 professional dell laptop in port 2. the router works fine on both computers until I connect to the secure network on my Dell. Even after I disconect from the secure network, my router does not work for the Mac. It doesnt matter if I restart either or both computers. I have to unplug my router, reconnect everything and it will work again...until I connect to the secure network...any ideas on how to fix this?

Did you make any changes just before you started having this problem?

If you go into the router's web-based administration interface, there may be an option in there to Enable/Disable Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI). If that feature is ENABLED, try disabling it.

I had a DI-604 several years ago, and the SPI feature on that router wreaked havoc on VPN connections I was attempting to establish.
