I'm sure I did something dumb that caused the problem, just not sure what.

Until this afternoon, I've always been able to use conditional formatting on my spreadsheets.
Now all of a sudden it's grayed out.

I may have accidentally set this workbook to "share", which may be the source of the problem, can't figure out how to undo that either.

Can anyone please guide me out of this Excel hell of my own making?

To unshare a woorkbook:
Tools->Share Workbook->unclick the "Allow changes by more than one user at a time...."

Let us know if that doesn't fix it.
