What is Free Night of Theater?
Free Night of Theater 2006 is a national initiative created by the Theatre Communications Group (TCG) and presented locally by its regional partner the New Jersey Theatre Alliance. Twenty theaters in New Jersey will be opening their doors for new audiences to attend a FREE performance beginning on the night of Thursday October 19, 2006*.

How do I attend a Free Night performance?
Although performances are free, ticket reservations are required to attend. Space will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations will only be available online and will begin on October 2, 2006. Check back soon!

I've done one of these in Philadelphia, and loved it! Unfortunatley, these theatres are mostly in the NYC area, and some on the Shore. But if you're in the NJ area, check this page out - there are some great shows being offered!
