I have a Sony Vaio.
I dropped a screwdriver on it, and it hit one of the middle keys.
Now when I try to turn it on, it keeps trying to start in safe mode, and cant.
I can live without the computor, but all my pictures are on it.
Who can I bring it to to get the pictures recovered somehow?
Is there a store or a person that I should look for?

I hope this makes sense.

could be just a stuck key

Don't worry about the pictures, you can always remove the hard drive and copy the pictures off onto another drive.

That's what I was thinking. Maybe more than one. The F8 key brings up the menu for Safe Mode.

Did you tap all of the keys a few times kinda hard with your finger? Sometimes that unsticks them... but it might be the circuit board below too...

I tried poking the key that fell off, I'll try it again after I tap the rest...&i'll try f8
