I have 2 SBC phone lines. I have DSL on my 2nd line which expires july 28, 2006. I am going to get DSL from Dell (with $100 rebate)on my first line. Now, my question is when should I start the new service on my first line? Should I start the new serice before the expiration of DSL on the 2nd line, Or July 28, 2006, or july 29, 2006. I don't want the issue of $100 rebate get lost in the middle of this change.
Thanks for your input.

I believe that it'll take ~2 weeks from the time you order your DSL to receiving your DSL equipment and activation of your line. So if you decide to order DSL for your 1st line, do so ~2 weeks prior, so you won't be out on DSL during the transition. As far as the $100 rebate goes, make sure you follow the terms thoroughly to avoid any complications. GL. smile.gif

This may sound silly, but check to see that line #1 qualifies for DSL. I have clients with more than one land line at their location and one will qualify and the other won't. This has happened to me in about 10% of the cases where a client has two phone lines.
