Hi all -

Haven't tried this myself, but apparently you're able to withdrawl money from paypal - asssuming you have their debit card - via a cash advance (instead of a MAC widthdrawl).

By doing it this way, you're limited to the larger daily spending limit as opposed to the lower ATM limit. You can also get _cashback_ on the transaction instead of having to pay the ATM fee.

From what I understand, it's somewhat of a loophole that will probably be repaired at some point...

I'm thinking about trying a withdrawl like this, but...

Can you go to any back and get a cash advance, or does it have to be a bank you have an account at? I don't really want to do it at my bank in case it's declined or something.

Also, has anyone here been doing this without problems from PP? I don't really want to get my account locked.

Thx!

The daily withdrawal limit is $3000 so you'd be able to make $30/day * 6 days a week in best case scenario or $45 if you're grandfathered at 1.5% cashback.. Do you have a reference where you found this information that cash advance qualifies?

I did a cash advance a couple years ago, and it limited me to the $400 ATM limit. I'm assuming that it still considers it the same way now.
