NPM Poster Request Form
Each April, the Academy of American Poets creates and distributes—for free—almost 200,000 copies of the current National Poetry Month posters to U.S. schools, libraries, bookstores, and community centers to help promote the month-long celebration and to increase poetry awareness.
The 2006 National Poetry Month poster was created by the New York City design firm Number Seventeen. It features the work of nearly twenty poets, including Walt Whitman, Emily Dickinson, and Langston Hughes. Order one for your classroom, library, or bookstore today. It's free!
Fill out the following form to request this year's poster. If you need more than one poster, please contact Douglas Korb at 212-274-0343 or dkorb@poets.org.
Copies of NPM posters from previous years are available for $5.00 each. To get a poster from previous years, send your request in writing, along with a check payable to The Academy of American Poets, to NPM Posters, 584 Broadway Suite 604, New York, NY 10012.
Please note that we are unable to ship posters to international recipients.
If you're a teacher, be sure to also sign up for our National Poetry Read-a-Thon.
