My parents have these lights (which are now discontinued) and they call for these specific light bulbs that apparently can't be found anywhere :-p

I'm thinking that might be the right one. It would probably help to know more info about the exact type of bulb. Halogen bulbs do come in different shapes and sizes.

is there a specific bulb number or the actual light model that we can check specs against? It is possible as wurly said that bulbs do come in several different sizes and types also but with the same wattage

unless the lamp comes with a transformer this bulb will blowup in a 110 volt outlet, it shows it's only good for 70 volts
Nack
Try posting the numbers on the bulb itself. Who made the bulbs? What type of socket, etc.?
