Is there anyway to use the Nano (u/l songs) without using itunes?
Miranda
I use MediaMonkey with my iPod. I'm not sure if it works with the Nano, but according to their website it works with all versions except the iPod Shuffle.

EDIT: The most "recent news" on the front page is dated before the Nano came out, so it might not work. You might need to download the latest beta version.

thanks Miranda. It looks like Mediamonkey is an Itunes replacement. I was hoping for something to make the Nano act more like a regular flash based MP3 player where you can just c/p what you want.

I think Anapod might be more of what you're looking for. It's not free though.

thank you miranda and LAB for your help.

Besides the 2 sites you have mentioned, I've found a few more.

http://www.mlipod.com/ (winamp plugin, so I probably not going to try it)

I actually bought the Nano as a gift for a relative of mine and I'm just trying to find the easiest way to u/l songs with additional software.

I guess I will test out all the options and see which is the best.

Thanks again
