yes I did both Amazon and Buy.com and it's the same deal with both. You need to wait a few weeks to be approved. Once you are approved, if you use that new credit card for purchases, then you get a $30 credit. I got both with no problem but I did have to wait a few weeks (1-2 if I remember correctly).
