My friend needs 2-3 dell desktops for his office.

I have not seen any particularly great deals lately.

He wants min of a dell 3000, prefers a 4700/5150, xp pro, 512 megs. They all come with flat panel monitors now so a 17 or 19 inch. I think he wants at least around a year left on the warranty, but 9 mo's would probably be enough.

Anyone pick up on some price mistakes or particularly good deals and end up not needing them?

The Dimension 5150 w. 17" LCD for $499 is a pretty good deal.

Yes, I saw those this AM. Too bad they only have a 90 day warranty, kinda sucks. Will point this deal out to him though.
