I've got 2 computers that connect to a netgear wireless router- a desktop and a laptop. The desktop connects to the internet well at all times, but the laptop doesn't connect to some sites at all or other sites well when connected wirelessly, even sitting within a few feet of the router. When I renew the IP I sometimes get a minute or two of greater connectivity. The laptop connects perfectly to the two other networks I use(work and school). The school network is open, the work network and home network(where the problem is) are both using WEP encryption. Any ideas anyone?

Perhaps there's a firmware upgrade for your router you can install which may fix this issue??
