What are good Black Friday strategies?

3)  Return and rebuy.  Buy the item before the sale, return it, and then rebuy it.  This is generally frowned upon.  I also forsee a lot of the big box retailers taking a hard line and not accepting returns at all this year on Black Friday.  So YMMV.

Can someone help me out on this? What good would it do?

Would someone do a PM guideline among the major B&M that B$ members will go to on Black Friday. Yes, I know the good deals will have extremely limited availability. But, maybe with rebate(s)/PM a few good deals can be done.
