The XM PCR (XM Satellite Radio Receiver for the PC) will start shipping on 5/6, and I figure some of the gadget gurus here will be among the first to get it. When someone does, please share your opinion of it with the rest of us. smile.gif

(XM Satellite's stock went up 10% after the product was introduced, so someone likes it.)

Installed in a vehicle, the XM antenna will capture a good signal, as long there is a direct line of site to the satellite. Now for home use, does one need to place the antenna outside or where?

Another question is whether service can be shared over a home network? For a commercial service, someone should figure out how to build a juke box unit, where bar patron could pay and then play songs via XM.

they have the XM boombox or whatever they are called now.

The antenna goes inside. XM recommends placing it near a window, but neither of mine are close to one. I have the boombox at work and the stereo adapter at home. The sound and choices are great!!!
