A bit OT, but I guess it has something to do with computers...
I got an image from google, modified it and saved it as a .gif with irfanview in a size to fit my cell phone screen. I wanted to share the image with my friend, but I get the message: "protected media, can not send". It seems the only pictures I can send are the ones taken with my camera phone. The ringtones I uploaded to my phone (not through the phone company but from various free sites) don't seem to be shareable either.
Short of giving my friend the computer files and transferring the stuff with a cable, is there any other way (or something I'm overlooking) to transfer these from phone to phone?

I have a cable I can hook 2 my phone to do this. What model is your phone?

i860, I also have a data cable, but I thought I could send it from my phone to another i860 phone....

I would go to the store or call and have them show you. I only use my cable.
