I captured some footage off a DV camera (it was hi8 passing through a dv cam actually) and the files are corrupt. The program crashed at the very end of the capture process.
MEdia player won't open them (says format not supported) and VirtualDub won't open them either (says it can't determine file type)
I of course no longer have access to the originals, so I'm stuck with these 2 files (16 and 20 GIG each!) and need to get them working. Any suggestions? I'm guessing perhaps the fourcc code is messed up, but I don't know much about that.
