it is 4/13 and i need a tax program
whats the best deal this week
i have staples office depot & office max within 20 miles
grateful for any help

Log on to IRS.gov (?) and you can find a list of online tax programs....Most of them, as I remember, are free for the Federal Return...you have to pay for some of the State programs...around $8 I think.

for some states you can file the state tax for free online.

amazon had taxact for $5 or FAR 2 weeks ago.. don't know if it is still going on. i think the rebate was printable and not just valid on amazon. so a friend went to a local grocery store and got it there and used the rebate from amazon and is getting the software for free.
