Move this if you like... I didn't really know where to put it!!
My doctor suggested Mederma for a scar on my hand (thank you, Campells Soup Company). Anyone used this? Anyone know how much it costs? I see that there is a $3 off coupon in the Walgreens ESC this month, which makes me think that it is at least $15.
ANY help woule be great! Thanks!
Well, it doesnt work on stretch marks, that I could tell you.
Drugstore.com sells a 1.7 oz tube for $27.79 if it's any help...
Since your doctor recommended this, save the receipt, you may be able to get reimbursed by your flexible spending account if you have one through work.

Thanks, guys.
I see that Walgreens has a store brand... which has the same ingredients in it as Mederma. Maybe Walmart will have a store brand too. My Walmart is great about returning products if they don't work -- such as if the package says "You'll see results in 2 weeks," and you don't see a difference, they have NO problem giving a refund!
I guess that it's worth a shot!!
I may be remembering wrong, but I think you're supposed to use it 1-2 times a day for up to 6 months. I used it on the scar left from a large deep scrape on my arm. The spot is still discolored, but it didn't make any scar tissue or anything...
didn't work on a dog bite I had on my arm. The plastic surgeon said to use bacitracin.
(NOT neosporin)
