Is it just me, or has the quality of deals gone done to miserable levels over the past year?
I remember a time when I used to spent almost $200 - $300 a month on rebate deals, and get the $300 back after a few months. Every day as I checked mail, I looked forward to getting a fat rebate check. DDR RAM used to be FAR frequently. HDs were FAR with coupons at OMax. Amazon used to give FAR software like crazy almost every Friday.

But now, even getting in a $50 deal per month seems very hard for me.

As the economy improves, deals were supposed to get better, weren't they?

Some of my better deals:
The Dell Dimension 8250 for $150 (Dell)
The Minolta printer for -$100 (staples)
Staples Samsonite/American Tourister sale - Got 2 large(29") , 2 small suitcases(wheeled carryon) + 1 bag for $50
OD computer table $200 retail for FAR
CC laptop bag (leather) for -$15

The latest deal worth enough to me seems like the Sears FAR tool sale.
