I got a Staples $25 GC when used a catalog coupon code. It expires on Feb 28th. Now I need to encash it.

I thought of buying FAR PeachTree software with $15 off $75 coupon (to cover tax ~$12) and my 16 digit $25 GC coupon. But the system doesn't take both.

Any help ?

That $25 GC won't stack with any dollar off coupon.

Take your $25 Gift CERTIFICATE to a B&M and see if they'll let you use it there w/o doing a KIOSK order. If they do, see if they'll let you buy a Staples Gift CARD w/ that Gift CERTIFICATE. Should that occur, you're golden!

If they do not let you buy a Gift CARD outright, but if they let you use the Gift CERTIFICATE in the store, pick up something cheap (i.e. $1 or less). The leftover $$$ on the certificate should then be refunded to a Staples Gift CARD (at least that's the policy when using a BR Check; however, those are allowed to be used at B&M's). YMMV on having this work w/ the Gift CERTIFICATE.

Once you have the $$$ on a Staples Gift CARD, come back later that day during another crew's shift (or come back another day) and do a KIOSK purchase of the PeachTree software. Apply whatever web cpns you have at the KIOSK. When you get to the register to pay for your purchase, use the Gift CARD plus whatever form of payment you want (cash, credit card, etc.) to pay the remaining balance.

The above is a bit convoluted, but...

Another thing which may work (but is more risky) is the following:

1) Purchase the PeachTree software at a B&M KIOSK, applying the 16-digit $25 cpn code at the KIOSK

2) When at the register paying for your software, whip out the PRINTABLE $15 off $75 cpn. It should apply no problem at the register; however, the CSR may be unwilling to do so if he/she see's that a CPN was already applied to the .com part of the order. If, however, you show the CSR that what you applied was a GIFT CERTIFICATE (and not a CPN), he/she may be willing to apply your $15 cpn.

The risk w/ this approach is, if the CSR doesn't accept the $15 cpn, you've already burned your 16-digit $25 certificate (at which point you may as well complete your purchase to get your $$$ back via MIR).

Sorry to ask, What is KIOSK ?

Most, if not all, Staples stores have a computer setup in them (usually along one wall, in the furniture section, or at the copy center) where you can make orders from staples.com. The advantage is that you can order at the computer, but pay at the register (so use cash, check, or more coupons)

I did KIOSK order at B&M, presented 15off75 and the gift certificate. The system didn't accept Gift certificate code. The cashier told it will accept only 1 such coupon. I told it is Gift Certificate, then she called the manager, he entered and went through!

By typing it in all caps, I can see why you may have thought I was referring to an acronym; however, KIOSK is a regular word (defined here). Sorry for the confusion.
