Try Travelaxe. It's a program that scours many sites at the same time and finds you the best prices. I've been using it for 2 years now - very good program banana.gif

Try vegaswatch.com They have a bbs that keeps track of some deals. Also check out the ads in the LA Times. Many casinos advertise there. You can access the ads online somehow... I did it before, but I can't remember exactly how. Also, try the actual casino websites. Right after New Year's I was able to get a double room at IP for 2 nights for $32 with a $100 matchplay at BJ. Have fun! Wish I was going soon.

Edit: Re-reading your post, you probably wouldn't want to stay at IP, but its a cheap place to lay your head, and has a great location.

Don't forget about the biddingfortravel.com / priceline.com deadly combo - that can almost always save you the most money (although Vegas has so many special deals that sometimes it can be a toss-up).

One of the best things to do is to book a cancellable reservation somewhere and then use priceline to see if you can get it within your strike price - if you do, just cancel your original reservation.

One thing that priceline.com is perfect for is if you're going to stay at the Venetian because it is the only 5-star hotel Priceline carries, so you KNOW that's the hotel you're bidding for (a bit of a rarity for priceline).
