I got lucky!

Tuesday they were marking to 50%. Weds I didn't get in there, assuming that they had done whatever m-ds they were going to do for the week. (Weds is our 'usual & customary' Toy-m-d day). Today I went in to check to see if I missed it yesterday (just in case), and they were JUST starting the m-downs!!! I had the whole dept to myself for almost an HOUR before other shoppers arrived!

So excited. Got the holiday shopping done for work for 40 (actually only 37 of them) kids for just under $200!!!!! And a little for my own shopping. Yeeee haaaaaa!!!

You are lucky ...we still have 50 % off ...does anyone know for sure whether it is going to be 75% off ...if yes then when ???

FWIW, there are still LOTS at under 75%, so I'd say they are doing it in 'spurts' this year. I went in again last night to see if they'd 'found anymore in the back' and they had merely consolidated, but what WAS left was still at 50 and under. Likely the non-deal seeking weekenders will buy them all up thinking they're getting a 'deal' and not wait for them to go to 75 next week or week after...

My store looks like they are doing a total reset cuz there are HUGE spaces of 'total clearance' toys...like they are planning on 'getting rid of the old' and bringing in lots of new items.

(Buh-bye Bratz! What a lousy trend THAT was...)
