I tried searching using "walmart" and didn't see anything on this yet...so I hope no one minds too much and that this is not a report.... the credit goes to a person at FW who I forgot the name (I just know I owe that person a LOT)

If you are fortunate enough to have a walmart and a sam's club nearby...you can work around the sam's club policy of only using discover card...

Goto a walmart and purchase one of GCs and pay using your rewards card of choice. Use the gift card at sam's club. repeat. ^_^ That way, some people might be able to get the 5% back on purchases...the amount on the GC doesn't matter (5-1500 i think...)

I had to do this because I often had to borrow my boss's sam's club card and didn't want to use up so much cash.

Mind you, I think if you use your discover card you probably have a better protection/warranty for whatever you buy...so maybe only use this for normal dail y stuff...like food and disposable stuff...oh well.
