We've had good luck with Sears Kenmore/Whirlpool and be sure to use that coupon which expires at the end of this month to save another $30. We also have a Whirlpool washer, dryer, and refrigerator. All have performed well for the four of us. Having to replace the washer recently (lasted 15 years), we were tempted at the Maytag brand until research showed that the Maytag we grew up with isn't the Maytag you get today. Also, when the sister-in-law told us how she'd spent $400 repairing a $600 Maytag washer which was less than three years old and leaking oil/grease all over her family's clothes, we decided otherwise as did she. She has since dumped her Maytag and bought a Whirlpool despite the dealer's offer to give her $300 credit toward a new Maytag.
The Sears website shows a GE Nautilus dishwasher on clearance for $249, was $320. With the coupon, you're at $219, which seems to be a pretty good price. The description for model states that its "Piranha™ hard food disposer grinds leftover food into small particles that are washed away".
Cheapest Kenmore is $198 which isn't enough for the coupon unless you buy some other items. If you were buying some more stuff at Sears anyway, the coupon brings this down to $168. I thnk a basic service call to even look at your existing unit runs about $100.
There's also a $99 rebate toward installation for dishwashers over $399. If you want to do it yourself, replacing an existing dishwasher isn't particularly difficult since the plumbing and electricity are already in place.
There are nicer and more expensive models (over $1,000) but in the end, it really is simply a machine that washes dishes.

After about 10 years, it's time to replace our trusty Whirlpool dishwasher... it leaks!
I would prefer the same brand, something with a black door (our other appliances are also black). We like Whirlpools because they have the hard food disposer, (so no need to rinse the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher)... Any ideas for a good deal?
TIA!
