The following is a list of my unfulfilled rebates over the 20 months or so. They were not rejected, they just never materialized, and I have been unable to track them down:

01/18/2004 $10 for Khypermedia 25-packs DVD-R from OM
03/27/2004 $20 for 256MB PNY SD Card from OD
06/13/2004 $20 for Olympus 256MB xD card from OM.
07/02/2004 $20 for Panasonic recorder from OM
08/03/2004 $15 x 2 for Soyo BayOne from TigerDirect (Hah! Double whammy!)
09/19/2004 $5 for compressed air from CompUSA

Overall I guess I received 95% of the monetary value of all my rebates over that time, which isn't too bad. Still, I was entitled to 100% of it!

It would be really interesting to compare notes with you guys to see if there are any obvious patterns. Does anyone else out there have their lost rebates listed?

Palm ranks at the top of not fulfilling rebates. They also rank #1 at not honoring their warranty. I'll never participate in Palm deals again.

What may be more interesting is if they are organized by fulfilling company. For example, are the staples rebates all through Parago, or are they manufacturer rebates?

I know OM uses a variety of fulfilling houses.

TigerDirect is one that I never buy or do rebates from!

Good point. If I've time I'll see if I can do that. Not easy though!

The folks who hang out in GC have been doing this for quite a while. It's been a lot of help in solving problems
