Here is one I always go by,
Expect long lines and tons of people so go with a good attitude, if you are going to get annoyed then stay home.

Go easy on the morning coffee as the lines for the restrooms can be nearly as long as the lines at the checkouts.

If your SO gets cranky because he/she dislikes shopping, do NOT bring him/her along.

Expect to spend time just looking for parking space, unless you shop early, very late, or are lucky.

Don't leave bags visible in your car, thefts from cars increase at this time of year.

I have been shopping BF sales for about 6 years. My mother and I go with two of my sisters. The best thing that we have found that has worked for us is making a list the night before and giving everyone we shop with a copy. If two stores open at the same time we leave early enough that we drop one off at one store then someone off at the next. If there is two of us in one store we split up and grab what is off of each other's list. If we end up with two and only need one you are sure to find one happy customer to take it off of your hands. We meet up before we check out to make sure we have everything. We also keep cell phones with us incase we run into any confusion. We go to every store that we wanted to and usually are done before noon. My husband use to think we were crazy until I showed him just my receipts a few years ago and I save over three hundred dollars and only spent five hundred. That really isn't bad considering I got most of my shopping done that day and I have three children.

i did this with my sister last year and it was very helpful. usually we shop for clothes on black friday and those lines are ridiculously long. since we like different things, if we go a store that i like, she will go in there and start standing in line while i look for my stuff, and we usually know what we want. by the time i get my things, we are ready to checkout. Some stores, if the lines are too long we both take turns standing in line while the other looks. it works very well and a lot of saves time. we hit all the stores we both wanted to go to by 10:30ish-11:00

so its always nice to bring someone along...
