Im looking for some good priced, high quality DDR ram, preferably pc2700, but I am having a very hard time finding it. Im looking for a total of 512MB of ram, with either one big stick, or two 256s.

Any help?

Yah, I saw those before AM*, but I have no idea of the quality of them. I might OC the cpu and wouldn't like to take a chance...

Z-buy has a good price on the Samsung TCB3 512 sticks. I got 1 512 from them. Samsung chips, not PCB. It's does only CAS 2, not 2.5, but it was at a great price ($120) when I got it ($115 last time I checked). If you want to Overclock you can get 3200 or Crucial 2700 from them (they sell it as Micron) for a little more. I love them because they charge no tax to CA and shipping was $0.45 by Fedex 3 day.

For 256 DDR try using the $25 off $75 at OD for the Kingston RAM (forgot who posted the deal here). Sometimes you get Nanya which is CAS 2 at 2100 and might go to 2700, or at least overclock well.

Ram prices went down again if you didnt know. Crucial Stick 512mb DDR $103 I think now. Dont forget the 5% off code.

EDIT: I know its one of the more expensive brands, but I have a Soyo board which doesnt like Samsung and probably other ram. So if yours would be a Soyo I would adivse Crucial unless you have something else already.

taken from bensbargains:

Crucial has an extra 5% off their prices on Memory and Video Cards using code BBUSERGROUP. They've stopped their ever-present 10% discount and instead just have the prices lower by 10%. Free 2nd day shipping.
