In this day of cheap storage, methinks 'tis time to go paperless and scan all those old filecabinets full of stuff I'll never look at. So I need to quickly scan stacks of paper. It would be a bonus to accomodate non-standard sizing as well.

I have seen some flatbed scanners that also offer sheet-fed functionality. But never see any particularly hot deals on them. I'm wondering if the best deal for a sheetfed would be one of those all-in-one printers. Was never that interested before, because they don't seem to offer flatbed scanning, which I also need.

I'm in no hurry, just wondering what to look out for.

Has that feat ever been accomplished by anyone??? Everytime I've scanned something it's taken forever to get it right... I have given up and now have stacks of paper everywhere....
