Last night decided to order the Khypermedia DVD burner and 100pack slim jewel cases, figured I'd add some things like paper and dvd-r to use a 20/125 online coupon, finally submit the order...

but no confirmation email.

so I called OM, the csr said yup, no record of that order, it didn't go through.

if I login to OM.com, the order won't show in my order history.

placed a second identical order a few hours later.....

same thing.

so i decided to just forget the coupon and other things, just order the burner and jewel cases....and now the order goes through.

I read on FW about OM revamping their online ordering system, so I guess it's now instructed to toss out orders that use coupons with items that already have an instant rebate/discount on it.

Anyone have a similar experience lately?

I tried ordering yesterday with a $20 off $150 coupon.
At what should have been the last step, it instead said something about the coupon not being combinable with the 100pk jewel cases, and the coupon was removed from the order.

Later, I tried again with the $20 off $125 coupon, and it went through fine.

Thier website was (and is still) getting completely hammered, due to the FAR DVD burners they're offering. So at this point, I would blame your ordering problems on their servers crashing rather than some system that silently deletes orders.

At one point when trying to place the order, I got some generic website error. So I had to start all over again.

I too got some strange website errors and finally gave up. Today it was fine.
