sounds exactly what Office Max would do. So the real postmark date was 9/4/2004. Why didn't that just state that on the rebate instead.

I would send it in anyway, you never know, they may have a change of heart.

You could also "resubmit" it later, in a month or two ....

If you submit now they will reject it. So my suggestion is not to submit now and wait till 2 months and then call them about the rebate not showing. they will ask you to resubmit. then you do it either by fax or mail. If you do by mail make sure you are submitting the photocopied version.

I did that once, when I didn't receive the shipment until after the postmark date.

Darn HP rejected my rebates as late submission even when they were postmarked one day ahead of the last day.
