For the Linux users:

You can also check to see if the distro you're using has their own forums. I use Gentoo and the Gentoo Forums are great. I haven't had to post anything there yet because I've found the solutions for what I've needed after a quick search.

Also, CompUSA was associated with a website, which I can't find right now, that did online check up of your system and gave recommendations...anyone know what it is?

Not technically support per se, but have tons of freeware utilities that I've frequently used in the process of support:

This site helps you figure out what processes you have running (the stuff that shows on your Task Manager) since sometimes just looking at blahblahblah.exe doesn't really help you figure out what it is.

"Every File Format in the World"
This is a list of file name extension or suffixes that indicate the format or usage of a file and a brief description of that format. We don't really show the file format itself here. In fact, many formats are proprietary and we couldn't show them to you. In some cases, we link to a definition of the file format or to related information.

In general, if you have the program that uses the file format, that program can be used to open or otherwise use the file. Some file formats (for example, the GIF file format used for Web page images) are standard formats that can be opened by any program that supports that standard format.
