Full Version: Good DVI card recommendation?

I just got a Dell 2001FP and I LOVE it - but now I need a video card that supports DVI output and the Ati Rage that came with my 400SC doesn't support DVI.

Here's the criteria:
  • < $100
  • Non-gamer, but may occasionally play some non-hardcore games (e.g. Black & White, but not Doom 3)
  • AGP required
Anyone have experience with a card they can point me at? Thanks in advance!

Maybe I'm mistaken, but aren't the ATI SE cards supposed to be worse than a lower end Non-Pro or Pro models?

Yeah I was looking at the 9600 (non-SE) like this one at newegg for $94:

The difference appears to be memory interface speed (64-bit on the SE vs. 128-bit on the 9600 non-SE) - I guess that can improve performance a lot...
