For Windows and Mac. A 57MB download. I'm still downloading it, so I can't tell you how well it works.

It does not require a previous version. Someone posted that this was a beta, but I don't know yet.

Installs as "Expression 3.3 Preview Version" and says "Beta".

Seems to be a decent vector graphics program. Clearly aimed at competing with Adobe Illustrator. Can import Illustrator files, and export to PDF, EPS, and Flash. Can save to a variety of bitmap formats (GIF, PNG, JPG, etc). Will use Photoshop plugins.

As a MS Preview, it will probably have a time limit where after it will stop working.

According to the last post in this thread in the the MS Expression forum, this is a full-feature version, being offered to existing owners to upgrade them (basicallly, added a MS EULA). I suspect that they really didn't mean to allow just anyone to download this.

Microsoft recently bought the company that originally made this program. They used to offer a tryout version with a 30 day time limit.

I suspect there is no time limit, but only time will tell.

Do you want to move your freebies threads to the freebie furom?

There they might draw much more attention. smile.gif
