In IE 6, when I right click on a .jpg photo to save it, the only file type Win XP will let me save as is .bmp.

I cleared out my cookies and don't know what else to do.

Any help would be appreciated

I find that just deleting my Temp internet files usually resolves it.

you could always convert bmp to jpg or whatever you want with a prog like adobe photoshop

Yeah but why go through all those extra steps?

Besides, you lose quality in the jpeg->bmp->jpeg conversion; most web-images aren't high quality to begin with.

no reason to go extra steps if you odn't have to. but sometimes things just don't work and you absolutely need it to be a jpg by 1030pm and it's already 1025pm. i was only listing that method so that you know that you can for instances like i described.
