Typically, stores extend the period for returns during christmas time. If we could compile the holiday return policies and periods for various stores, it would help everyone.

staples - can return upto 1-11-04
Circuit City - Can return upto Jan 31
Compusa - Can return upto 14 days after christmas (unconfirmed)
Amazon.com - Can return upto January 31 (for most items shipped 11/1 thru 12/31)

Please post the holiday return policies of other stores that you find.

Best Buy - upto 14 days after 12/26 for computers, upto 30 days after 12/26 for all else (i.e., Jan 08 I think for Comps, Jan 20 or so for everything else).

Items must have been purchased between Nov. 1 - Dec 24.

are any of these places going to allow non-receipt returns? that would be good info as well, in case you don't have a gift receipt and are wondering where you can go
