Hi there everyone,
OfficeMax is becoming more popular by each day with its incredible deals with coupons and rebates. It also has its great 115% Low Price Guarantee for office stores or regular 100% match to any other stores. This thread is being made in an effort to help keep all the latest coupon promotions in one place. I hope this helps others who find coupons (for all ranges of purchases) often hard to find.
NOTE: To make this thread as user-friendly as possible and also due to the fact that you can use each coupon as many times as you want on the same account, I will list only the best coupons for each spending threadshold (i.e. $125, $150, $200 and $250). You can post any valid codes at Office Max; however, the OP will be updated only with coupons that will give you most money back.

NOTE: You cannot use coupons on ANY order that has a FAR item in it, even if all the other items in your order are higher than the total needed for a use of a coupon. This DOES NOT apply to online orders, you can still use coupons on FAR items there. 
You can also use competitors' coupons in-store, but this is a huge YMMV as managers have become much more stringent about these lately.
USING Ebates?
If you want to use Ebates and a coupon (which is what I do), the only way to combine both into one is if you order via eBates first, complete your order and then call 1-800-283-7674 with your order number and give them the coupon over the phone (press #7 to get to a CSR quicker). Make sure to give them one of the codes above in the PHONE ONLY section. Please wait 24 hours or more before calling because in order to get credit from eBates, your discount cannot appear on your order, it must show up separately as a credit issued separately from the order that you have placed. I never had a problem using this approach, but YMMV.

Q: I was told couple of times that OM has completely stopped accepting competitors' coupons. Has anyone been able to use other stores' coupons at OM lately?
A: I haven't been able to use it for almost a year now. I think they "officially" stopped accepting competitor's coupons at the beginning of this year, but some stores didn't get the memo.
Q: I was told by OM CSR when I ordered over the phone that I must give the physical coupon to the delivery person, but I don't have it! What do I do?
A: Don't worry, in 99% of the cases the delivery person does NOT ask for the coupon. Simply accept the package and you are set. In the remaining 1% of the cases, simply say your wife/friend/significant other placed the order and that you don't know where they have the coupon. That should do the trick upon which the driver won't wait and will simply leave.
Q: Does anyone know where to enter one-time coupon codes online?
A: Redeem Coupon Page online is HERE Thanks sssjunk. This link is for one-time coupon codes ONLY. These one-time codes usually consist of around 15 random letters. Should you wish to use a regular multiple-use coupon, use the codes above in the ONLINE coupon section.
Q: Can I use online coupon in-store with FAR (Free After Rebate) items?
A: It depends on your local OM. However, the coupon specifically says that it is valid ONLY at Officemax.com. My local OM store doesn't take online coupons or competitor's coupons.
Q: Does anyone know if it's possible to apply coupon by phone to an already existing order which was placed online?
A: Yes, it is possible. However, you must do it like this. After your order has ARRIVED, call OM at 1-800-283-7674 and say that when you placed the order online, you used a coupon which is no longer reflected on your invoice and that you would like them to credit your order the amount of the coupon. They will ask what the coupon code was after which you can read the phone only code to them. Works everytime
Q: I have a 12-digit coupon code. When I callOM do I say that I got it in an email or regular mail?
A: If they do ask (which has never happened to me) say that you've received it in the mail. The phone only coupons don't arrive any other way.
