Looked in next week's Staples ad and was very disappointed. They're selling Win 7 at full retail price, with no promotions at all, except a laptop trade-in. Where are the deals we've gotten in the past?

Maybe they are waiting to see if it sells through by itself - also, they may really be counting on new computer sales, since lots of people and companies waited because of Vista. That may be their real market.

There were pre-order deals a few months back and a 3 PC Home Premium Family Pack is being offered for $150.

If you're looking for deals on Professional or Ultimate I personally don't think there will be any....except for those pre-orders.

with some sort of coupon, that might not be bad. Although i see some vendors are already preselling it for around $140 without tax.
