JetBlue Offers 'All-You-Can-Fly' Pass for $599

Want to feel like a true jet-setter? JetBlue has a deal for one month of unlimited flights.

JetBlue Airways Corp. is offering an "all-you-can-fly" pass where passengers can book an unlimited amount of flights over a month for $599.

The airline said Wednesday that pass holders will be able to fly to any of JetBlue's 56 destinations between Sept. 8 and Oct. 8.

Customers must book the pass by Aug. 21.

Pass holders can book travel within three days before a desired departure date. Taxes are not included in the deal, and a $100 change or cancellation fee applies.

"No shows" for flights will incur a $100 fee, and the pass will be suspended until the fee is paid.

JetBlue's frequent fliers will get 35 TrueBlue points for buying the pass.

In addition to the 56 cities JetBlue serves in the U.S., Mexico, South America and the Caribbean, the discount carrier will add service to Baltimore on Sept. 9 and to Barbados on October 1.

Seems like there are more gluttons for punishment then I had guess. For those who got in on this deal, avoid airports where the TSA workers aren't on duty after five. Otherwise, it might be nine hours trapped in a plane with overflowing toilets and crying babies.

Now if the current administration was running the promotion, (fill in your comment about ineptness.) wink.gif

JetBlue's unlimited-travel pass sells out
The airline runs out of passes on strong demand.

Airline travelers scooped up JetBlue Airways' (JBLU) all-you-can-travel passes in record time, forcing the airline to stop selling them ahead of schedule.

JetBlue, which began offering a one-month unlimited-travel pass last week, ended the sale early because the passes sold out before the promotion was set to expire, the airline said this morning.

"We wanted to ensure those who bought the pass could get the flights they want, so we capped the number of passes we would sell. And we reached that number (Wednesday)," JetBlue spokeswoman Jenny Dervin told Thomson Reuters. The offer was set to expire on Friday.

JetBlue had offered passes for $599 that allowed people unlimited travel to any of its 56 destinations. The passes are valid between Sept. 8 and Oct. 8.

"I'm totally surprised by the amount of attention the promotion has earned," Henry Harteveldt, airline analyst at Forrester Research, told USA Today. "It's an extremely creative promotion, though, and creativity is something sadly absent from airline marketing and promotions. It's the kind of offer that makes you sharply inhale when you see it -- it's so good that you almost can't believe it."

At 2:15 p.m. ET, shares of JetBlue were up 12 cents, or 2.4%, to $5.20 this afternoon.

Add another reason not to be so fly happy.

The crazy clown probably heard the woman tell her DH that one of the Clump was taking up two seats and one was her's.

Flight disrupted by naked man returns to Oakland airport

"About 20 minutes into the flight, I heard a ruckus about four rows behind me. This big guy, about 6-1 and a good 300 pounds, wearing an Oakland A's baseball cap, probably in his mid-20s, had hit a lady in the mouth," Scanlon said. "He was yelling but not making any sense. Then he hit or slapped another woman who was sitting next to her husband, and he hit him on the top of the head.

aww, they sold out? I was actually considering this, but I guess this makes my decision simple tongue.gif
