I am just wondering if you have got your refund check in the mail yet. I am kinda worry since the cash for clunckers project ran out of money within a week. Many new home owners are writing in blogs to say their $8000 tax refund is delayed again and again.

Are the big wigs in DC also delaying those huge economy-save-your-big-bonus payment to their big banker friends?

Perhaps the 'borrowed' money is on a slow boat from China. If others are concerned, figure the 800# will be too busy. Might want to contact the local office of your Congressman.

I for the first time tried to call that special 800# today. I was put on hold for 30mins before talking to someone. The message was it is now much slower to get the money (16 weeks) than a month ago (4 weeks). I am keeping my fingers crossed.
