There is a printable coupon for the Windex Outdoor window washing tool, so I wanted to set up this quiz to see if anyone has ever used it before.

Here is a link to the coupon, which is for $2.50 off the starter kit: http://windex.com/coupon/outdoor-all-in-on...;cid=oaio_may09

We wash our windows but I guess not as often as we should as you will see in the picture above... which is a good thing anyway because we had some flowers on the kitchen table and I guess a bird did not see the dirty window... blushing.gif

You need an "other" category...vinegar water & newspaper for me...we have windows that fold in so I don't have to step outside my friendly confines... biggrin.gif

I actually pay someone to wash the outside of my windows every spring. smile.gif

I don't wash the outside of the Windows. We get enough rain that they're washed all the time anyway lol.gif

we have 14 French doors (12 windowpanes each) facing the screened porch. Invisible Glass foam and microfiber towels for me!

The other windows (bedrooms, transoms) get Invisible Glass, a squeegee and a hose.

Thanks for the tip...I Googled them, and the product also has a spray or wipe form...look in the auto detailing section of most stores...

They never sent my free sample... rolleyesold.gif

The wipes are no good.
The spray is boring... tongue.gif

Yes, it is in the automotive section usually, at places like W-M and Target. I was able to get a 4 pack of the foam cans at Sam's but now they don't have it.

we spray with water and use a squeegee. seems to work for us.

With current trend of things going digital, need to start hoarding the newsprint. It does the job. When I'm actually up to it.

I can see how a handle would be helpful for hard-to-reach places. The windows here are all small enough, and fold inside for easy cleaning.

At my parent's home and many Chicagoland localities the local fire departments clean windows and gutters to raise money in the Spring and Fall. They come out with ladders and/or lift trucks to get upper stories.

Wow, had no idea that there were so many ways to wash a window!

kar, I hope that this coupon is in the right area - I had seen the other one but it had already expired.

Anyone done their first cleaning of the season yet?

Ummm...grocery coupons are generally posted in the grocery forum...unless it's for something totally free without any other requirements, then it goes into freebies...Got any links for those??? tongue.gif

That's actually pretty impressive! How do you wash 'em - with the windex tool, a squeegee, or something else?
