I am not sure how helpful it would be but I just got an email with the link below and it appears to be disney club offering but might be helpful in other ways

Great ideas..

Been out to mousesavers.com .some decent ideas but not alot of savings for the park entry tickets 5-8% if your lucky.

The disney vacation club was of interest ..I had already spoke with them...was going to try and work them over for a discounted stay if I took the timeshare presentation but they said they don't offer discounted stays or packages.

you guys are confirming i'm on the right track thanks!!!

really trying to do this trip on the cheap..

for airfare we found $137 incl taxes non stop but by the time we could commmit it was $175 still a great deal no connections and great times.

Found a really killer deal on a decent resort. For the first three nights I found a Holiday in vacation club resort on Holiday inn.com that was cheaper booking directly through Holiday inn.com than the package they offered to pitch the timeshare to us (go figure ??) $105/night for a 2 bd room condo (theres 4 of us)

Then wanted an oceanfront out in the Cape Canaveral area for the weekend and found a Hilton Oceanfront on Melbourne Beach for $48/night. For our last two nights we are back in Orlando at a Hyatt Place right across the street from Universal for $30/night using Priceline so we cleaned up!!! I'm a bit of a priceline junkie-- if anyone ever needs some priceline coaching I can be an asset that way.

I've replied to acouple of posters on craigslist but one looks quite suspicious and the others I havent heard back from so who knows...

The park entry tickets may be our single largest expense if I can't find some way to break the pricetag and get a great deal.

Thanks for the ideas...keep em coming??

do you know anyone in the military? if yes, they can get you discounted tickets.

good try...but none of us are military and while there are alot of discounts i wouldnt necessarily qualify for that I'd grab thats the one that I'd never want to abuse since its a benefit reserved for those who serve our country.

that's why they place limit on those tickets. to prevent abuse.

anyone know if there was a special link in last month's mousesavers newsletter?

our answer was craigslsit and we became new friends of employees that could get three in to the park or had park passes... and don't be afaraid to negotiate with them. We got into Disney for $42/person for a day with park hopper priviledges. Put the post out the night before and ha a response at 6:00 am the next day.

There is some risk in this strategy as they have to show up and you cannot exchange money at the gate it could get them fired. But for us it worked great.

Thanks for the replies.

I've always ordered from undercover tourist using mousesavers discount. They ship quick, and their price includes shipping. We're 7 days away from a 2 week stay at WDW and ds is so excited. We plan or buying APs this time using our combined DVC discount and 10% off AP since we'll be there for 14 days and plan on coming back first part of June next year.

I dont know if this will help you or not, but if you are a florida resident this yr Florida Disney parks are offering free admission on your Birthday !
I know ! June 14 got in Free to Epcot for the day and had booked thru Hotwire a hotel for 2 nights @ $ 29.00 a night !
3 star turned out to be BestWestern Lakeside Orlando 2 miles from Epcot !

It was A Wonderful Cheap Trip !

I Love Hotwire ! I have used it many times and never been let down.
