Now I don't like to say this but please, use common sense and do not call them and take advantage of the company and their nicety.

I wanted to post this to applaud Viking for extending a helping hand for those affected by Isabel. It was commendable of them, even though their intent is a marketing gesture and they want your business over any other office supply stores, naturally. I still think this is something that deserved honorable mention!

WE WANT TO HELP YOU, IF YOU NEED IT!

Everyone was affected by Hurricane Isabel in Delaware, Distict of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina, some much more than others. We want to help you however we can.

If your business was damaged, tell us what you need NOW, and we will try to do it NOW-at NO COST TO YOU.

This is NOT a sales letter. It's a sincere offer, just to help our customers.
Here are a few ways we can help you if you need it:

1. Some office supplies (at no cost to you) to get you started again.
2. FREE replacement of something you have purchased from us.
3. Extra months to pay us for open invoices or additional purchases (no interest, no pressure-just your personal word that you'll pay).
4. Special needs-just ask us.

So, just call us toll free at <deleted> anytime. Right now, "people and helping" are what count most. You can count on us.

Sincerely,
Ann Cashman
General Manager

I deliberately deleted the phone number, and if you were in these regions you most likely will get a letter also if you are a current Viking customer so you will have their offer and number.
