Just wondering if anyone has seen deals for HDMI cables what with all of the doorbuster HDTV deals that everyone has.

if you're unable to find any deals,

monoprice.com is a good place to buy cables at reasonable prices.

there are some nice deals on ebay

newegg has a pile of them under $6.00, and they havea 10 foot version under $8.00. I order stuff from them all the time, and usually get it in 1-3 business days (they generally ship 3 day UPS, but even when selecting this option I usually get things in 1-2 days).
I'd certainly go with them over an ebay merchant for the customer service, should you need it.

Monoprice: HDMI cables
Prices are lower for most items if you order 2 or more.
Shipping is pretty reasonable. Less than $6 shipped for a single orange cable, and even better when you place a larger order.

Thanks for the suggestions/links everyone! Ended up going with this deal since I only need one cable right now.

I read somewhere recently (may have been here) that if you have a digital cable box with a HDMI interface you can contact your cable company and they'll give you one for free smile.gif I haven't tried it, but I should.

Dealzmodo: Comcast Gives Away Free HDMI Cables (If You Ask)

gizmodo?

someone replied that some time warner installers do it too. Seems like it's YMMV, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Absolutely. When I originally got my HD Cable Box I asked for component cables and got them.
