It looks like Linen n Things are at the end. They are now no longer accepting the store coupons at my store. Also read they are liquidating all stores. Use up your gift cards!

My SIL works there, she says (as of when I saw her last weekend) there's been no official announcement yet but the impression management is giving is, start looking for a new job.
I think it's all over bar the shouting.
I think at least one of the liquidators is the same company that started to liquidate CompUSA. If so don't expect any great bargains. I think they start to discount some items in the stores while trying to sell the inventory in a bulk sale.
Has anyone tried the online coupons to see if they're still working for online orders? They've been posted for quite a while but originally had long expiration dates.
can we no longer make a return?

My store started their liquidation at 10%, no LNT credit cards, coupons and all sales are final.
Anyone notice that the 'deal wanters' not the 'deal getters' are out in droves just eating up the 10% off at LnT? I can take that stack of 20% off at BBB coupons across the street and still get better deals that way then jumping on LnT right now. I am watching them, no doubt, but I imagine it will be a week or two before their liquidation prices meet up to the BBB coupon prices.
Heh, guess that means that BBB doesn't have to honor old LnT coupons, no longer competition and all that.
People get crazy when they see store liquidation. The last place i went that had a store moving sale, it was the same thing. Whole store got cleared out in no time and the percentages weren't even that great.

Few years ago the Delaware mid-range/upscale department store Strawbridge and Clothier was closing. All those unblievable prices! A friend of mine bought almost 300 new clothes and he wowed not to wash any of them since they are that cheap!
But I would definitely hate to see LNT go. My mom loves this store! Yet we all realized the business had been bad for them. Are we all falling back to Walmart? We are going to see our lives quality to go down, way down, in the next few years.
