
Chicago's Historical Route 66 Classic Car Show–
Touted as "Chicago's ONLY car show on Historic Route 66," this event attracts throngs of automobile enthusiasts and offers a step back in time to the days when gas-guzzlers ruled the roads. Generations of Fords, Chevys, GMs and foreign models are on display along a two-block stretch of old Route 66 (now Ogden Avenue) – the border between Chicago's southwest neighborhoods of Lawndale and Little Village. Admission is free and visitors have an opportunity to win movie passes, traditional Chicago-style pizza, a fitness membership, tickets to the Goodman Theatre, and more.
