Have word document that contains many pages. Most pages are in portrait while one is in landscape. How do I keep the document as a single document and have one page landscape while the remaining are portrait?

Thanks.
Alan
You can use portrait and landscape in the same document. I believe what you need to do is select all of the text on the page you want in landscape, then select margins, choose landscape in the orientation section and apply to selected text.

Using 2007 version. Doc in portrait. Selected part I want in landscape. Went to orientation and gave 2 options; portrait and landscape. No option for selection only.

In Word click on the Page Layout tab, mouse over Orientation and press F1. A help screen will appear with instructions for using portrait and landscape in the same document.

Perfect. Thanks Alan.

Use portrait and landscape orientation in the same document
Select the pages or paragraphs that you want to change to portrait or landscape orientation.
Note If you select some but not all of the text on a page to change to portrait or landscape orientation, Word places the selected text on its own page, and the surrounding text on separate pages.

On the Page Layout tab, in the Page Setup group, click Margins.
Click Custom Margins.
On the Margins tab, click Portrait or Landscape.
In the Apply to list, click Selected text.
